Introduction
MP3 Audio Editor is an audio editor which can help you crop audio files easily and quickly. With this audio crop software, you can cut down all your favorite audio parts and establish them as separated files to enjoy. Just download and install MP3 Audio Editor, and then have fun!
Step 1. Input an Audio File
Launch MP3 Audio Editor. Click "Open" ()
to activate a browser window, in which you can select
an audio file from your computer (
).
Then, click "Open" (
)
to input the audio file to program.
Tips: All the files of the supported formats can be seen in the "Open" window & if you want know other formats supported, activate the "Files of type" dropdown list at the bottom.
Step 2. Select a Region
Select the region you want to keep. There are 4 ways to select
a region: click anywhere of the waveform as a starting point
and use hotkey like Shift+Home, Shift+End or Ctrl+A
to select from start/end or all ();
click the left button and drag along with the waveform to the
place wanted to be selected (
);
specify the beginner & end of the session by
moving the sliders below the waveform window (
);
Input the start, end and length of time to
choose specified region at the bottom of the editor (
).
Tips: If you do not select any part, some inactivated buttons will be in color grey and the corresponding features are unavailable; some audio effect will be directly applied to the whole waveform.
Step 3. Crop the Audio
There are two options for you:
One is to click "Crop" ()
to cut down the selected part of the audio. Another is to click
"Edit" (
)
tab and select "Trim Start" (
)
to delete the part of waveform before the current position while
"Trim End" (
)
to delete the part of waveform after the current position. Click
"Fade Out Trim" (
)
to keep the selected region and apply the fade out effect on
it.
Step 4. Save the Changes
After the cropping is finished, go back to the "Home"
tab ()
and you can save the file by clicking the "Save"
(
).
Save File: to save the changes to the edited
file.
Save File As: The file that has been edited
can be saved with a different file name and/or location.
