How to Add Bookmarks?


Introduction

If you listen to audio books, radio shows, extended DJ mixes, or other long audio files on your MP3 player, you would doubtlessly find it useful to be able to bookmark your location in a file, so that you can choose that bookmark later to start listening again from the same spot. Download and install MP3 Audio Editor first.

Step 1. Input an Audio File

Launch MP3 Audio Editor. Click "Open" (1) to activate a browser window, in which you can select an audio file from your computer (2). Then, click "Open" (3) to input the audio file to program.

Tips: All the files of the supported formats can be seen in the "Open" window & if you want know other formats supported, activate the "Files of type" dropdown list at the bottom.

Step 2. Add Bookmarks

Click "Bookmark" tab (1). Select a position of the waveform (2) you want to add bookmark. Click "Set Bookmark" (3) and enter the name of the position (4). Click "OK" (5) and the bookmark list pops up. All of the bookmarks you have made display in the list. Select one (6 and double click it, you will return to the corresponding position. Manage the bookmark (7) by right clicking the bookmark and there will be "Go to Bookmark", "Rename", "Select All", etc. operations prepared for you.

(You can also click "Open Bookmark List" (8) to activate the bookmark list, and then manage the listed bookmarks.)

Step 3. Mark the Region

Select a part of the audio you want to mark (1). Click "Add Region" (2) in the "Bookmark" tab and enter the name of the region (3). Click "OK" (4) and the region list pops up. All of the regions you have marked display in the list. Select one (5) and double click it, you will return to the corresponding region. Manage the region (6) by right clicking the region and there will be "Select", "Copy to New", "Delete", etc. operations prepared for you.

(You can also click "Open Region List" (7) to activate the region list, and then manage the listed regions.)
